What is Phone Order Notification?

A phone order notification is when you will receive either a phone call or an SMS text for every new customer order received. This helps you stay on top of your orders should there be any reason you may not have access to reliable Internet service in order to check your email or dashboard for order notifications.

We highly recommend setting up either a phone call or SMS text order notification as a backup to your email, fax, or other order notification methods with Promenade.

Setting Up Phone Order Notifications

To get started with receiving phone order notifications, follow these steps on your Dashboard:

Go to Vendor Dashboard > Settings > Website > Notifications - SMS Alerts, Additional Alerts sections
To enable SMS alerts:

Enter your cellphone number in the Cellphone field

To enable phone call alerts:

Check the checkbox for Phone Call Order Alerts

Save

Removing Phone Order Notifications

In order to remove any phone order notifications, you would follow the similar steps outlined above:

Go to Vendor Dashboard > Settings > Website > Notifications - SMS Alerts, Additional Alerts sections
To disable SMS alerts:

Clear your cellphone number in the Cellphone field

To disable phone call alerts:

Uncheck the checkbox for Phone Call Order Alerts
